What makes Karam different from other taxi apps?
On Karam, the captain sets the price and you pick the offer that suits you best out of multiple options — instead of accepting a fixed price imposed by the app. This gives you the freedom to choose the price, the captain, and the arrival time.
How many captains receive my booking request?
Your request reaches the captains nearest to you (typically 3 to 5), and each one sends an independent price offer for you to choose from.
How do I get to know the captain before the ride starts?
Before you choose, we show you the captain's rating from past rides, the distance between you, and the price they're proposing. All this helps you make an informed decision.
Can I reject all the offers?
Yes. If none of the offers work for you, you can cancel the request with no fees and try again later.
How is payment handled inside the app?
Currently payment is in cash directly to the captain at the end of the ride. We're working on adding electronic payment methods in upcoming updates.
Is Karam available in every city?
We're expanding across Iraq. Download the app to see which cities are currently supported in your area.
How do I become a captain on Karam?
Download the "Karam Captain" app, complete your personal information and vehicle documents, and after verification you can start receiving requests.
Is my personal data safe?
